Goals of Customers: Identifying needs and providing solutions
Take time to understand customer needs before developing solutions. Get personal feedback from existing customers, use surveys before and after customer service experiences. If you don’t understand your customer’s pain points, how are you going to help get their problems solved?
Talking to your customers can help you learn about what's important to them. You can ask them why they are buying or not buying, future purchases, and needs they have.
“The first step in exceeding your customer’s expectations is to know those expectations.” - Roy H. Williams
When you work hard to provide solutions that will meet your customer's needs, you are solidifying a strong relationship that can last for years. There is still nothing more valuable than building a good relationship with your customer.
